About Christine Foerster, NTP | Menopause Nutritionist & Metabolic Balance® Coach

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and Menopause Nutritionist specializing in personalized nutrition for women in perimenopause and menopause. My work combines functional nutrition, metabolic balance, and lifestyle coaching to help women restore energy, balance hormones, and feel like themselves again.

It’s not a stretch to say that my passion for health began right when I was born. Soon after completing their Peace Corps service, my parents moved to Southern California to join a small film company that created educational health and lifestyle films. I grew up immersed in the crunchy, low-fat health craze of the 1970s and 1980s—I was the kid bringing beansprout and spinach sandwiches to school and training for family vacations that rotated between bike touring, sailing, and backpacking.

Through the years, I’ve seen how confusing nutritional advice can be. Yet true wellness is based on simple principles: eat whole, nutrient-dense foods you mostly cook at home; share meals with friends and family; move your body regularly; and practice mindfulness and breathing techniques that calm your nervous system so you can truly rest and digest.

I’ve been fortunate that a healthy lifestyle has felt natural since childhood—but it can be learned at any age. That’s why I’m passionate about helping women navigate this transitional time with clarity, confidence, and nourishment. When your body is balanced, you don’t just get your energy back—you rediscover your vitality, your joy and your purpose.

It all begins with awareness

My coaching is also informed by yoga, which fundamentally changed my life as a young adult. Yoga reminds us that conscious breath is our greatest tool. Yoga fosters a daily practice of awareness, a kind of internal compass. Yoga helps us to live through our entire body rather than living only in our head. It allows us to trust the power of our gut intuition and the expansive wisdom of our heart.

A central part of my coaching practice is regulated the nervous system to decrease stress and anxiety. We will work to create a space for awareness so that you know exactly where you are and where you want to go. I would love to share this journey of discovery with you!

Your body is infinitely wise

My coaching is based on one foundational idea: our bodies are infinitely wise. This wisdom is the source of an astounding potential but much of contemporary life blocks this understanding within us. The way back is a true connection to ourselves through thoughtful health habits, mindfulness practices and a clearing of the external clutter.

My coaching is designed to help my clients build these foundational health practices and shift their mindset to release old patterns of thinking so that they can create their life with purpose, based on loving and meaningful relationships. In my coaching, I use resources from my experience as a yoga instructor, the latest research on human health, the abundant literature on mindfulness practices, but, above all, a holistic approach that is precisely tailored to each client individually.

As your coach, I will work with you one on one to develop a highly personalized and holistic plan for foundational health and a nutritional plan based on your bloodwork. We will focus on root-cause healing so that you will feel your best and aspire to create whatever it is you want in your life.
